Students make a difference with Band-Aids

Seventeen Junior Kindergarten students at Morganton Day School are making a difference in the community, and asking for the community’s support to make a bigger impact. The students’ idea to help came after they completed a unit of study on “Who We Are.” From their studies, the children learned that their own attitudes and actions make a difference to their friends and families.

As a result of this learning, students are “taking action” to help patients at Mission Children’s Hospital. Students invite the community to be a part of their “Band-Aid Drive” by bringing donated boxes of brightly colored Band-Aids to Morganton Day School during the week of Oct. 12-16.JK students
