As a 2nd generation alumni of Morganton Day School, I am excited to be expanding my relationship with the school by serving in the capacity of 4th grade teacher. The school’s dedication to helping students become well-rounded global citizens and lifelong learners has been an inspiration to me since my time as a student, and I look forward to being able to share in inspiring students to come!
In my spare time, I enjoy writing, reading, and going on adventures with my son.
I received my B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing from Appalachian State University and my Master’s in English Literature from Western Carolina University where I taught freshman and sophomore writing courses.
