I enjoy making school fun by encouraging learning outside of the box. I lead my students with a collaborative, hands-on approach that allows each student to be met where they are at individually. I love watching my students get excited about learning and about coming to school. 

I graduated with a Bachelors of Liberal Studies from Armstrong State University in 2017. My family and I moved to Morganton four years ago and have loved planting our new roots here. I am excited to be joining the MDS family and for what the future brings. 

When I am not in the classroom, I love to take photographs, garden, read, and to go camping with my family; Doodle and Dalmatian included.
