The arts are an integral part of the Morganton Day School curriculum. Art is a powerful mode of communication and self-expression. It is a unique avenue in which students can enhance their understanding of the concepts being taught within their classrooms and experienced in daily life.

Visual arts authentically encourage creativity, inquiry, growth mindset, and confidence - important assets of the Morganton Day School (MDS) experience! Throughout one's career at MDS, students explore a variety of mediums, develop skills and research and learn about artists and art history. Their creative process also evolves and matures over time.
