Coronavirus Update – 3/30/20

Consistent with our mission as an International Baccalaureate school to strive to instill in every student a deep commitment to being responsible global citizens while acting at a local level, it is our duty to care for our Morganton Day community and for the broader community to which we all belong.

Ultimately, the Board of Trustees unanimously determined that the appropriate course of action for Morganton Day School during the COVID-19 pandemic is to suspend our on-campus teaching and move to remote learning–strongly encouraging “social distancing” for all in our community as we confront this unprecedented public health crisis together. 

• Beginning March 16, our campus closed and school business will be conducted via phone (828) 437-6782 and email. All emails for staff and faculty are available on our website.

• We are still accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year, and Dr. Mikusa can be reached at mmikusa@morgantondayschool.com.
